Teen Night: The Art of Illumination

In medieval times, books were rare. Monks frequently were the ones transcribing the written word. They would draw pictures in the margins and make the first letter on pages decorative using bright colors, swirls, leaves, and geometric shapes. Join us for this program where you will design your own illumination letter -- using the first letter of your first name with paint and canvas. We will have examples on hand.

Teen programs are for grades 6 - 12. Please register here.
