Seniors Read to Kids

The Columbus Public Library and Home Again Assisted Living Community are partnering up this summer for some wonderful opportunities in community literacy! Our neighbors who live at Home Again love books and reading. Senior residents at Home Again have signed up to read to some of our youngest community members! Children ages 5 and under, can sign up to be a “reading buddy” and be read to by a senior resident from Home. Parents are asked to stay on site with their child(ren) for the duration of the program. Reading buddies, their parents, and their seniors will have time to socialize with lemonade and cookies after everyone finishes their books.
