It’s time, once again for NaNoWriMo!  November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and it’s our 2nd annual NaNoWriMo program. This series of workshops is for student writers and it’s a great time to start (or continue!) working on your book-length story! Local award-winning young adult novel author Valerie Biel will guide students from initial idea through a completed story. We’ll work on building a good plot, character creation, choosing your setting, dialogue that doesn’t drag, and everything else that goes into making your story awesome! For participants who have participated in previous writing workshops and writing labs, we’ll review topics and add in more advanced writing craft tools.
This class is open to students in 4th– 9th grade. Sign up here
