Appraiser Mark Moran has done antique appraisals at our library in the past. We are delighted to have him here for a three-hour appraisal session in the lower level of the library.
Registration is required for appraisals, and are limited to one item per household. You will be assigned a specific appraisal time between 10 AM and 1 PM when you register online.
THERE ARE NO MORE APPOINTMENT TIMES AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT, BUT THERE WILL BE A SIGN-UP SHEET AT THE PROGRAM IN CASE OF NO-SHOWS. Observers need not register, but be aware that seating is very limited.
Categories of objects for appraisal include: Americana, fine art, furniture (usually smaller pieces are best), ceramics, glassware, vintage photographs, advertising, folk art, assorted toys, metalware, clocks, costume jewelry, musical Instruments, antique and vintage lighting, books, and sports memorabilia.
Excluded items: All weapons, including swords and knives (though folding knives with advertising are accepted); traps (like leg-hold); Nazi memorabilia; coins and paper money; fine jewelry, including precious gems; Beanie Babies.
