Planning Priorities
In 2024 the Library Board of Trustees adopted a strategic plan with three main goals for the library.
- The Columbus Public Library provides access to a variety of materials, information, and ideas.
- The Columbus Public Library is a center of the community and provides a safe and welcoming space for all.
- The Columbus Public Library provides connections to educational experiences and opportunities.
In a nutshell, your library will continue providing a warm and welcoming environment and great programming. We are pursuing additional and augmented means to communicate our upcoming programs and services to our community. While we are out of space in our beautiful 1912 building, we still have the same goal of providing exceptional service to our patrons.
