Homeschool families are invited to join the Columbus Public Library Homeschool Program! Comprised of families from the Columbus/Fall River area with students ranging from ages 4 up through high school age, this program will meet at the Library on Mondays at 1:30pm. Built upon the interests of the homeschool families, the Library will offer programming that complements curriculums and engages students and grown-ups alike, such as: school-like experiences and public speaking opportunities; cooperative skills programs; STEAM; craft projects; board game days; behind the scenes experiences at the library; special community partnerships and more. March 10: Board Games and Legos! Challenge your mind and your friends with our selection of games and Legos.
March 17: Homeschool families are invited to join us for a special library scavenger hunt, and other St. Patrick's Day themed treats and activities!
March 24: Our STEAM program will focus on potatoes, learn how to sprout potatoes in water and some history on the Irish Potato Famine.
March 31: Books, books, books!! What is more fun than sharing your love of reading and a great new book with friends and classmates! We will do a mini-book club where families are encouraged to bring titles of books that they have read and want to tell others about. Miss Helen will also share some book titles that are new and exciting!
